Interior Design and Carpentry Studio
We imagined Böjd to be an interior design and carpentry studio focused on helping their high-performing clients reduce stress and clutter in their homes. The vision of the company is to bring peace and tranquility to their clients through beautiful, simple, and elegant solutions. These include custom, bespoke storage and cabinetry designed specifically for each individual home, as well as heirloom quality furniture pieces. Our goal in creating their brand identity was to reflect this clean, minimal, and calm mindset.
The Böjd Logomark pays beautiful, subtle respect to the organic nature of the materials used daily in the Böjd studios. Discovered through use of the Golden Ratio, this mark also honors the mathematical precision of the design work a client expects from their craftsmen and women. This mark reflects Böjd’s values of peace and precision, and denotes each of their pieces as they are finished.
While many are invited to appreciate the artful work produced by this studio, we decided that our target audience would be mothers between the ages of 35 and 40. These women have found their dream homes, are deeply involved in their communities, and have full schedules daily. With very little time to devote to themselves, Böjd seeks to make any moment they can get alone at home a restful one.
Böjd’s commitment to natural materials is reflected in each of their endeavors. For example, this linen tote bag is made from 100% undyed natural fibers. When Böjd’s clients meet with them to discuss their services, they often leave with many more items than they arrived with. We thought a tote bag to carry these items would keep the client’s hands free of clutter as they journey home.
